Hi everyone!
Just thought I would let you know that on the 13th of November there will be the opening of an exhibition for a project called "so far" that all first year art and design students at Edinburgh college of Art will be part of. It going to be a brilliant project for us as the students are creating not only everything that goes in the show (individual pieces) but also making the event happen. This is being done by splitting everyone up into teams of curators, production, resources, promotion and documentation which is pretty crazy for us as artists. (The tutors have only booked the venue and are just making everyone figure out what is going to happen themselves

)
Also the conditions of the project are we are not allowed to spend any money on the project at all.

(This is very hard but should be fun!)
I got given the role of being one of the curators for this group project at Art College. Ive never done it before.

In our team as a curators in our group we have come up with boundaries for the exhibition space today we decided for example having all the artwork in black and white tones with only one extra colour
should be interesting to see what people come up with.
The event is at 'Art's complex' on London Road in Edinburgh so feel free to see the exhibition for the week that its on (after 13th of November) as I will have an artwork as part of the show..
Just thought I would let you know about this one

Dont worry about your originality. You could not get rid of it even if you wanted to. It will stick to you and show you up for better or worse in spite of all you or anyone else can do - Robert Henri -
